DSG DQ200 Dual Clutch Replacement
Inspection and replacement of the dry dual clutch on DSG DQ200 (0AM/0CW), including adjustment and basic settings after installation.
Thematic AI illustration
When inspection is needed
- Judder or vibration when pulling away.
- Clutch slip or inconsistent engagement.
- Relevant fault codes or abnormal clutch diagnostic values.
These symptoms do not prove clutch wear on their own; other faults can cause similar complaints.
Diagnostics before replacement
We read fault codes, inspect available clutch parameters and assess transmission operation. We identify the DQ200 version and the appropriate replacement kit.
Replacement procedure
When replacement is confirmed, we remove the transmission, replace the dry dual-clutch assembly and the components required by the applicable repair instructions. We adjust the engagement mechanism, perform basic settings with diagnostic equipment and check shifting operation.
Transmission fluid during an on-vehicle clutch replacement
When the vehicle comes to our workshop for DSG DQ200 clutch replacement, we also replace the fluid in the mechanical part of the gearbox. The mechatronic unit has a separate fluid circuit, which is not part of dry-clutch replacement.
Important
The scope and price are agreed after inspection. Clutch replacement is separate from mechatronics hydraulic repair.
